Gestuelle Typographique

This project is an exploration of contemporary typography, created in collaboration with a classmate.

Our idea was to design typefaces using modern digital tools, without ever touching a pen. We envisioned an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience set in a room that resembles a museum, featuring large blank canvases where users can create their own typographic designs.

Once the typographies are created in this VR space, we retrieve and vectorize them, and then have them drawn by a robotic arm.

This process allows us to produce a new "handwritten" typeface without ever physically holding a pen, showcasing an innovative and digital approach to typographic creation.
